Safelogin's goal is to provide a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service that users feel comfortable using every day. I was brought on to design the entire user experience for mobile iOS and Android apps, along with accompanying desktop apps for macOS/Windows. In addition to the app, I also designed their web-based portal and customer-facing marketing site.

At the start of the project, Safelogin compiled a rough specification document detailing the entire application flow. The document was quite complex, and detailed many technical aspects that were key to understand before moving forward. Given my design and development background, it was easy for me to jump in and quickly digest.

Conveying trust, security, and privacy were important factors that Safelogin wanted to represent throughout the user experience. To accomplish this, the overall tone was kept bright, clean, and modern. I was quickly able to put together initial design comps of select screens for sign-off.

From there, the full app design was fleshed out along with accompanying macOS/Windows designs.

Next, I worked on developing a similarly complex web portal design. Unlike the initial app, the client did not have the web portal user flow fleshed out. No problem! After speaking with the client and discussing their overall needs, I put together a sitemap/user flow and got to work.

After wrapping the portal and app, website design/development commenced. My main goal was to expand upon the established app design I created and flesh it out across the 14+ page marketing site.

The resulting designs were refreshing, eye-catching, and unique. These designs were then developed by myself within WordPress, launching shortly!
